Terms

These terms are an agreement between Builder Kin and you, the grown-up who owns the account. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of every child you add, and you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account and your children

• You are responsible for your account, your password and your grown-up PIN. Keep the PIN secret from your children; it is what keeps you in charge.
• You may add kid profiles only for children you are the parent or legal guardian of.
• You decide what goes online and what is shared. If you switch off "Nothing goes online without my OK", your child can publish their own sites, which are still safety-checked first.

What kids build

• Your family owns the ideas and words your child puts in. You can download a build's code where your plan allows it.
• Sites are built by AI. They can contain mistakes, and our safety checks can't be perfect. Please look at sites before approving them.
• Published sites are public to anyone with the link. Don't put anything on a site you wouldn't want others to see.
• Don't use Builder Kin to make anything unlawful, hurtful, or that copies someone else's work without permission. We may remove sites or close accounts that do.

Sparks, plans and payments

• Building uses sparks. Everyone gets free sparks each day; plans and spark packs add more. Prices are shown before you pay, and payments need your grown-up PIN.
• Plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time in the Grown-up zone; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Sparks have no cash value and can't be transferred.

Ending your account

You can delete your family account at any time in the Grown-up zone. This cancels any plan and deletes your kids' profiles, builds and published sites for good.

The service

We work hard to keep Builder Kin running and safe, but it is provided "as is", and we can't promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to read and agree again before your family keeps building.
